Title: Local intertwining relation for classical groups

Abstract: This is a continuation of Atobe’s talk, based on the same joint work with Atobe, Gan, Ichino, Kaletha, and Minguez. Here we focus on a related but different aspect of the local intertwining relation (LIR) in the context of Arthur’s inductive proof of endoscopic classification. The main theme is how to deduce the LIR and local A-packet classification for certain non-tempered representations from the tempered case via Aubert duality.
