Abstract: We first introduce the basic concepts in mean curvature flows and their singularities. Then we focus on the uniqueness problem of tangent flow. I will introduce the recently developed nonconcentration estimate for mean curvature flow, which decouples the proof of uniqueness of cylindrical tangent flow into a simple Lojasiewicz inequality and an estimate of graphical radius.
