摘要. A theorem of Borel says that any holomorphic map from a smooth complex algebraic variety to a smooth arithmetic variety is automatically an algebraic map. The key ingredient is to show that any holomorphic map from the punctured disc to the arithmetic variety has no essential singularity. I will discuss some work towards a p-adic analogue of this theorem for moduli of abelian varieties. Joint with Abhishek Oswal and Ananth Shankar.

报告人介绍：朱歆文，现任斯坦福大学教授。2004年本科毕业于北京大学数学科学学院，2009年获美国加州大学伯克利分校数学博士学位。

朱歆文主要致力于几何表示理论的研究，尤其几何朗兰兹纲领方面。他研究了环路群的旗流形的几何和拓扑性质，并把几何朗兰兹纲领理论应用到算术代数几何领域，取得了重要成果。获2013至2014年度美国数学学会百年纪念奖学金，2020年度科学突破奖——数学新视野奖。
