Abstract

In this talk I will show that the Ext-analogue of Bessel model vanishes for tempered representations. As a corollary, this implies that Waldspurger's integral formula gives the Euler-Poincare characteristic of the Bessel model. If time permits, I will also talk about the Fourier-Jacobi case.
